When Comet is run, it checks for a local copy of cfilesrv.exe running on the machine. If there is one (service) it uses it. Otherwise, it is supposed to launch cfilesrv.exe from the same folder it was launched from. On a vista local account, this action does not seem to work, resulting in a message like "One or more servers ... are unreachable".

I verified this on my Vista setup, and all I can say is that we will look into it. I regularly run comet on the Vista machine, but I have always installed the Comet Services first.
