On the 64-bit stuff. Comet Server side software will work with 64-bit, no problem. Client Vista side is good until 2014+
who knows. 2018? Vista/7 is released as 32-bit and 64-bit. Seems like 32-bit Pc's are going to be around for awhile. Depends on what the hardware guys do. How fast is fast for 64 on the hardware level? At Retail Channel, today? Client and Server. 64-bit Pc's are MUCH faster than 32-bit. My make on this is to look at the Server side first, client side second. Jim? Am I wrong?
