I've posted opinions about this in the past. The dates simply cannot be relied upon. 50% at best. Scanning create/update dates is an important tool in trying to figure out what clients are doing in the process of messing up their data and asking US to figure it out at NO cost. YEA!! Keep dreaming!! I've got my costs and you've got yours. Yester-year I've developed a program, just for my use, called QTOPIC. It's a 504, QMOUSE based utility that categorizes topics as I choose to enter. It's a tree. Top, down. You build it. To your satisfaction. We need to come up with a way to categorize the forum by NAME, SUBJECT to infinity. If it was entered in 1995, keep it for future reference. Key words or whatever. It's a SEARCH thing! This functionality needs tons of thought.
