I'm not here to debate the benefits of using or not using UAC. Given a choice of running the latest version of Comet on Vista or having UAC on, I'll take Comet. We've run just fine for years on XP without UAC, with an active anti-virus app running.

The issue on this thread was Comet not running on Vista. I'm just offering a workaround until a permanent fix is in place.
