Used CTMAINT to build POPUP definitions which allows me to build custom lookups, control file record maint programs, etc. My new project, popup program displays dates YYYY-MM using hyperlinks. Attached to each hyperlink is a Windows path. Being at the sibling program level, I'm pondering how to pass the mouse selected date and Windows path back to the parent program, which is itself a hyperlink menu. Using MESSAGE$ seemed hopeful, but's way to small. When at a hyperlink menu sitting at SELECTION: I invoke the popup and the following occurs. Using PSTAT and storing the info, Z menu went to NOVA which went to my POPUP program which went back to NOVA, CMHELPX then finally to Z. The only solution I can think of is file based and on the Z program, test whether an I/O request is pending using the STS function.
