Please look more into IE8. Divided into multiple categories. IPROVEMENTS, basically the change from IE6 and IE7. SPEED, some say slower, others say faster. SECURITY, has improved big time. You read it. InPrivate browsing for one thing. IE7's phishing tool on steroids. STANDARDS, something called ACID TEST2/TEST3. By what I've read, no one passes ACID/TEST3. IE8 passed more ACID/2 tests than any other. MS's problem is IE6 and IE7. Before any of IE8's accomplishments can be realized, Web Page developers must adopt IE8 practices. IE6/IE7 are NOT supported by the STANDARDS base. IE8 does. Web Page developers have used IE6/IE7 as the standard for years. See the problem MS has? IE8 has a compatibility feature that allows past Web Page IE6/IE7 to work in an IE8 environment via a button. Think if Comet had a compatibility button for 503/504. Sig, please, please don't go there!!
