We are moving our entire environment into a new Active Directory domain, and will be implementing DFS extensively.
The current paths in our COMET cfg's look like this:
\\ebgusnyyfps01\cometpub
Which maps to a PHYSICAL server and then shared folder.
However, when we move to the new environment, the above will be changed to the following:
\\corp.ebbrands.com\Centralized\AppData\CometPub
Will COMET have a problem with the above UNC path that has "dots" in the pathname?
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
