The sound drivers won't install under Win98. Might be cause of Win2K install lockup in PnP. Based on DOS diagnostics, Dell recommends "motherboard need replace". East Indian fractured English :) Repair/replacement would run higher than new laptop :(
I'm going to propose they convert the Comet license to CometAnywhere. I have an OK from from Signature HQ.
