Hyper V (MS competition for vmware) comes in many flavors from the free portion (very stripped down) in Windows '08 to the enterprise version that gives you failover capability between vitual hosts on other virtual machines. This is what we went for, we have two duplicate HP G6 machines running multiple session of Hyper V supporting applications and both talking to a SAN for storage (eliminating a drive array in each server). The servers are configured to move the virtual machine to the other host if one should fail and pick up where the other one left off. Migrating a virtual machine is fairly painless in the new enviornment.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
