Ok, after some debugging, I've found what the problem is that I'm having. On a comet anywhere session, ths getdiralias is returning the catemp informatino for the host machine, not the remote client machine.
I have a pdf file (non-comet), sitting in a folder on the server. I want comet to copy that to the $(catemp) directory, to a non-comet file, so i can just launch it from within comet.
i know my full unc source path & file name on the host, and I'm just trying to determine how to set the variable for the catemp path on the local (or remote) comet machine.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
