You know, I totally forgot about copyfile. I was thinking about CUTLCPY, which wasnt going to work for me in this case. Here's the deal. Its pretty simple: I have a non-comet (no qdir) directory with PDF files in it. They are simply copies of Purchase Orders, named POpppppp.PDF, where pppppp is the PO. In Comet, when requesting a copy of a given Purchase Order, I use a DOSFC command to see if the PDF file exists. If it does, i want to simply copy the PDF file to the local CATEMP directory, and issue a LAUNCH command to open the PDF from there. I think the copyfile will do just that -- copy a non-comet file from a folder on the server to a folder on the local machine, and launch it from there. Make sense?
