copy file using xap/html

Does the copyfile command work with XAP. I want to develop a way to copy pdf files from a remote location using HTML and XAP instead of comet anywhere. I haven't been able to make the copy file command work. It has problems with the destination folder. Should I use UNC or a mapped drive name?
