Upon your recommendation, I took a trip to "Slashdot". Lot's of GREEN issues. Article that got my attention was IPV4 vs IPV6. Comcast taking the lead. I've experienced Comcast complete disconnect, similar to a power failure. NO connection to the internet for hours on end. No one is perfect and Comcast up time is 98%. Web Page up time? IPV4 running out of space? What's this about? How does this affect Comet? Sounds like the NLM project of yester-year to get to IPV6. Vista/7 supports IPV6. I took a look at it and decided to back burner it for now. Looks daunting at first look. Over my head. Benefits? Mandatory? Dead line dates?
