As Jim mentioned, latency is as much a factor as bandwidth. Since CA only deals with screen paints and not doing any program/data IO, bandwidth isn't as important. Mind you, CA is a statefull connection compared to a browser which is stateless, so you will really notice the server interactions with a CA session. Doing PING or TRACERT tests (NeoTracePro works good too) between locations will help determine where the bottle neck is. In one case, we had our local ISP adjust their network for us by peering with another local ISP to allow for better routing of our connections. Now, instead of 10 plus hops (via Chicago or NewYork) we managed to get it down to 3 or 4 local hops. Made all the difference in the world. Bandwidth/Latency can also play the same type of role when doing remote control work like programming or server maintenance.
