I have been working with Ultra Edit version 15. Ultra Edit keeps changing such that our install program is partly crippled in this newest version.
I have been following Steve Auerbach's excellent writeup about installing Ultra Edit here: Installing UE .
I have tried multiple ways to export my settings. I wanted to be able to transmit them to you and you could import them. That way your tool bars would be set up correctly. I have had no success with this.
I HAVE been able to improve the wordfile, however. I don't know if it includes all of the IB syntax elements, but it does have the new Comet32 elements.
If you have an older version of UE, you must merge this file with your current wordfile located in the same folder as the UE executable. If you have version 15, just copy this file into the wordfiles folder.
Please let me know if there are any verbs, functions or operators missing. Let's try to update the wordfile from time to time as needed.
I would like to have a better UE install program and I am working on it. Suggestions are certainly welcome.
I would also like to have a way to use UE over a CA connection. I just don't know how to do this yet.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
