If the copyfile from a Comet Anywhere host to a remote client fails during the move of the file (dropped connection or some other cause). The source file on the host remains open, even if the session goes away and there is no way to force closed the file short of restarting the Comet Anywhere host. Whohas in Comet Explorer or the old utility shows the file is not open, but trying any function in Comet generates an error 12. I believe Comet or CFAM has the file handle open in DOS. How can we make this more aware? Is there a way to close all open file handles for a partition at CMONITOR? Can there be a time-out on no activity on the DOS file? At the very least how can I force closed the file handle short of a restart of Comet Anywhere?
