My name is Ramona French and I work with Roger Johnson's company Kumquat =
Inc in New York City. We are currently working on a project that a few =
of our clients have requested. I would like to know if you could give me =
an idea of how to best handle this situation.
Export of .csv file to either Excel or Access form template. After the =
data is merged into the form it would be renamed automatically to the =
ticket #, then would return to comet for the next ticket and repeat the =
process until the end of file.
So I would need to automate the write to excel or access and the rename =
process and return to comet for the next record.
I know how to create the csv file with a comet program and open the file =
in excel for the import and manually rename the file, but I need to =
automate this. If we could just get the first step to have comet write =
the .csv record and send it to the excel or access template that would =
be sufficient for now.
Any ideas? Anything that you could tell me would be helpful. Kumquat is =
running Comet 2003 Build .321/03.02
