Sort of on the same subject, but a quick FYI to fellow Comet users.

I just loaded up Windows 7 RC (found on Microsoft site for free). I loaded the Windows 7 32 bit version into vmware and it worked fine. You need to download the ISO and cut to DVD, then install the OS. Everything in the installation went off without a hitch. Then I loaded Comet Anywhere (recent version) and connected to a Comet Server - and it Worked! Being 32bit, I wasn't expecting problems.

Next, I'm going to see if I can get the 64bit version to load into my vmware and give her a spin.
