Here's a review of a SSD drive from last December.
Gives a general idea of where SSD's shine.
My only caveat is that they "wear" out faster. More disk sectors go bad versus a traditional HDD.
An aside. I found an old Qantel invoice from ’84. A 40 Megabyte hard drive sold for $17,000. Today you can buy a 1 Terabyte hard drive for about $100. That’s 25,000 times the amount of disk space for 1/170th the cost. That's about a 4 million to 1 improvement. Maybe we should have Intel, Microsoft, Dell, and the rest take over health care.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
