HP's P4515n is a 60+ PPM printer for $1600. Add another 500 page drawer for $300. Shop and you might save a couple of hundred.
$2000 and you make every Comet print job faster. No printer specific code you'll regret later.
Doesn't take many development hours to run up a $2000 bill.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
