HSA is my main goal. I need a tax deduction. Naturally, I'll always invest in myself! Health Savings Account. It goes something like this. I don't have all the details, I'm chasing it. Don't know the exact numbers, but here goes. Because I'm 55, I can invest $4000 into a HSA per year (your choice where the money is deposited, Wall or Main Street). I agree to pay up to a set annual dollar amount for all medical expenses I generate. Everything! All prescriptions, stress tests, blood tests, annual doctor visit. Health Insurance Company pays nothing before this limit. Deductible? I also pay monthly insurance to Health Insurance. Your chasing a tax deduction, remember!! I don't use up the annual dollar limit, (what's the annual dollar limit? I don't know yet.), it turns over into the next year and any interest earned is non-taxable. It grows to your benefit!! Keep healthy and it'll balloon in time. Youngsters/singles should look into this, need a tax deduction? In order to expand your HSA you have to manage it. That's your responsibility, not an insurance or government entity. Yet another DAA! Does your health insurance company have your six or wallet? Hit by truck? Fed's?
