ODBC - Comet32

Trying to simply write to a database outside of Comet using the ODBC commands in Comet32. Program of mine compiles in cosm32, but when I run it, the screen flashes and nothing happens (my dummy inputs don't stop the program and the ODBC terminal never appears). Any ideas?
