Yesterday morning our Comet Security Server Service experienced an application crash (aka Dr Watson error).

Any attempt to restart the service resulted in another application error.

The only way to recover was to restart the host server.

Our analysis of the Dr Watson dump files indicates that the crash was caused by a bad pointer passed to the wvsprintf function by the CSecSrv.exe process. We are guessing that this was caused by a buffer overflow.

Attached is the debug.txt for your review and analysis.
