Never got CB to work. Since you mentioned it, I took another look.
Fired up CAW client and found ...
Dir ... TMP
Path ... C:\WINDOWS\CAFILES\CATEMP\
CFAM Directory
--------------------------------------------
Dir Alias for "Comet" is "C:\Comet"
--------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
08/14/09 10:23:45 503/503 DOS DIRECTORY LIST VSN: 09.03
DIR COPYRIGHT SIGNATURE SYSTEMS 1987 - 2008 608.399
C:\COMET\ SIZE CREATE TIME TYPE REC KEY DIR:
0 FILES 0 PRESS TAB:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Even though my problem is with TACCESS it's the only way I have to get CB.EXE and the DLL into the C:\COMET folder.
But it errors out ...
SEND
HOST PATH C:\COMET\
REMOTE PATH T:\
Interop.CometLib.dll
Transfer in progress...
Function aborted: HOST error: (3 ) Invalid path
CB.EXE
Transfer in progress...
Function aborted: HOST error: (3 ) Invalid path
-------------------------------------------------------
Then I think, does C:\Comet even exist? I tried a DIR on a phony folder and it gave me the same "empty" results as above. So, I don't think C:\Comet exists.
Yuck!!!

Customer just chaged ISP's last Friday and it took their Cisco/VPN/Firewall "pro" until 1PM Monday to get the firewall to allow 11751. Looks like he cut off 11752-11759 which were open before. So, ComerEx is dead too.
More Yuck!!
