List read

Can a List, Combo, and/or ListView be read back in display order? If yes, is there an example?

The SORT driver's going away so I don't want to use that feature. I'd like to see if I can avoid creating a TMP file. I have my sorted LIST right in front of my face and I need to read in back for the next process.
