Keith, I can't say that I have tried Comet (Server/workstation/Anywhere) in a VMware system. That being said, I don't know of any or read about any application that comet will not work. To date, what ever I've installed in a vmware (not a great list) has all worked.

I'm assuming you are referring to Comet Server (and security server) - Only concern I would have is the security dongle. I don't have a dongle handy or I'd load comet server up in a VMWARE session (XpPro VM) and give it a go. Not there yet.
