Apparently it only took a one week vacation to forget everything I knew about Comet.

Prior post about DOSCOPY and #CFILES was brought on by a program's failure to find and open #CFILES. Getting the file straight and restarting Comet allowed my program CMAINT to open #CFILES. See OPEN1.JPG.

But, CMAINT closes #CFILES and runs CMAINTM. Which can't find and open #CFILES.

The EXCP is 11 and the code is ...

OPEN '#CFILES', EXCP = NOFILE

NOFILE is my catchall E11 and E7 routine.

There are no other users and no other programs running.

I did a Qtilities #13 to delete and add the QDIR entry. No joy.
