I'd love to have a fully functional MySQL interface. But I would also like to get rid of the ODBC element. I am not convinced that ODBC is that great. I thought I had been told that ODBC was a poor man's fix from Micro$oft. One thing for sure is that the current implementation of ODBC gateway is less than satisfactory. It's like trying to fill a truck with gravel using a 1/4" funnel.
Can't wait to put my hand a Comet32 with MySQL support. I'll sure try to push it to the limit.
