This beta includes fixes from Jon's testing plus some additions.

Jon's suggestions.

1) The file name text ("File: C1A on STD") turns red when a record has been changed but not committed with a write.

2) Changed the uncommitted write message and logic. Click Yes to write the record and click No to release the extract.

3) CMAINTM (field maintenace overlay) is now a ENTER/EXIT from CMAINT.

My changes.

1) CMAINT - double click a field in the "Field Names" list to add a field to the "Selected Fields" list.

2) CMAINT - double click a field in the "Selected Fields" list to delete it from the list.

3) CMAINTM - added a Secondary Key List View. It shows all the secondary keys with a length under 200. The two List Views are interactive in that data changed in one might result in the other list view being refreshed.

For example. The data list shows customer name (5,25). The secondary key list shows CUSTNAME (5,25). Both are actually the same 25 characters in the data record. If you change either, the other will refresh with the new data. This is good.

Another example. In addition to the CUSTNAME secondary key there is also a SLSMCUSTNAME secondary key. Defined at (300,27. 1st two characters are the sales id and the next 25 are the customer name. There would be no interaction if the customer name in the SLSMCUSTNAME key was changed. Not so good.

Example. CFILES.INC has FILNAME$ at two positions in the #CFILES record. The second is a secondary key. FILNAME$ is a first part of the primary key of the record. If, using outside maintenance (like CometEx) you changed the data at the second FILNAME$ location. Seems to me that all sort of bad things could happen.

So, be very careful with secondary keys when you have multiple instances of the same data in a record.

4) CMAINTM - removed the "Change" button since it only applied to the data list. To change a field, double click it.

In the next version, on an added record, I'll probably add automatically stepping through the fields one at a time.
