Comet on laptop

For the wish list.

While running Comet on my laptop under battery power (the exception), I occasionally get distracted and when I return the laptop has gone to "sleep".

When I return I have a very non-informative "Stack Error". Closing that leads to a Windows "NTVDM.EXE" error. Comet is totally mucked up and I either reboot or fight my way through Task Manager and Services to get all things Comet terminated.

A tidier close out process would be nice.
