Found something about my failures. My tests involved the SEAGATE Barracuda SATA 1 and 1.5 TB disc drives. Do a search on this and you'll find very angry customers. BAD firmware!! If the disc drive was before 01/2009, your hit with the bug. After, you're OK. I must travel the pre-January path!!
