CFAM is designed to run as the one-and-only file system for Comet. As an aid towards migration to CFAM we've configured Comet to allow a mix of various directory types (L/N/S/C). There are a couple of issues that must be understood when running in a mixed configuration.

When referencing a file without a directory name, all CFAM directories will be checked first - REGARDLESS OF DAB ORDER. This effectively places all of your CFAM directories at the head of your DAB list.

You cannot rename a file to or from a CFAM directory from a non-CFAM directory.

If you are NOT going to be using type 'C' (CFAM) directories you can rename or erase Cfam.Exe to prevent it from being loaded by Comet. Future releases of Comet will only load Cfam.Exe when required.
