ultra edit problem with vista - HELP

I am running UE 9.20b on my Vista PC. I compiled programs from this PC last week. I installed Windows Updates this week and now I can no longer compile on my Vista PC. When I try and compile the first line of the program which is the Compie Instructions flashes on the screen and disapears.

One strange thing is that when the compile used to function, it only worked if Comet was launched from UE when the compile launched. If I launched Comet before clicking the compile icon, the first line of the program flashed on the screen and disapeared.


I can complile from an program in the office. Boy do I have Vista.

Any Suggestions?
