I right clicked on my UE icon and seelcted "Run as Administrator". I can now launch Comet from with UE.

I closed UE and Comet and launched UE again as I normally do. I can still launch Comet from UE (success)!

I'm wondering if the Vista Update changed my UAC settings and running Ultra Edit as an Administrator changed them back?
