You're talking about "Find" in CometExplorer, right? When I use it, it gives me a list of all the matches at the bottom of the left column of the display, indicating which directories the file was found in. If you click on a match, the right side of the display shows the details of the file. You can see the "Source" and "Version" there as long as you've selected those columns for your display (View->Choose columns).

Did you want something more than that?
