As we have been opening up applications via XAP to the Internet we have had problems with data integrity from people cutting and pasting data into fields and then updating Comet. These fields contain non-ascii characters sometimes (mostly for us Chinese Characters) and they reek havoc in the system. Does anyone have a routine that perhaps is not a byte by byte comparison to strip non-ascii characters out of a string?
