One more comment. Gave client a "STRONG" suggestion to dump all the Windows Server 2000 PC's. All of them!! Bad guys know this OS inside and out. Using a Server 2000 with 7 is meaningless. Pointless!! Why would you?? XP is just a matter of time. At least Windows Server 2003 R2!! Later Windows OS's are more secure. Older are less secure. Yea, newer has a learn curve. New stuff/procedures coming out. Daily!! Reminds me of college exam days. Constant learn curve at every turn. From my perspective, I'm attempting to keep up with a billion $ company with little or no personal contact and still be awesome at the client level. Oooh DAM?? This is hard!! Nostalgic? Dependent? Don't be. Some of my other fellow software vendors are. That's their problem. Moving on. Guess what?? Given the security push of my write-ups, Windows and Symantec updates am STILL fixing client infected PC's at the management level!! Email and browsing top culprits. Dam, bad guys just won't go away.
