I was wondering if there's a way to quiet the OdbcDrv.exe or make the window invisible ?
I use an ODBC connection to MySQL to encrypt credit card data and the log windows is a security risk as the encryption key is in clear text. This is a high security risk.
The problem is compounded by the slow down of the log display, after a couple of tens of thousand of transactions, the ODBC gateway just grinds to a crawl.
Also the Save button allows the operator to take a snapshot of the log, so collection lots of vital information.
I will not say anything about using a tiny-weeny hole to talk to ODBC, that's another story.
I need either a quiet OdbcDrv.exe or a secure 256+bits encryption like AES_Encrypt (open source).
