I see what you are saying, however, something must have changed at CA in the last couple of days. I've been using CA for at least 2 years. It does regular update checking (nightly). It goes without saying that I use comet every day. I did not have a problem until yesterday (Thursday). Anyhow, I know how to deal with it. My biggest concern was that I had a bigger problem other than cosp.exe. Thanks for your info. Marc
