Users, spoiled brats :) Before the DOS colors they had green on black. If they were lucky, they had amber on black.

I'm working on one of my holdouts right now. I put my SETCOLOR program as an ENTER in QMONITOR so the color gets set when Comet starts.

So, another suggestion. Not sure if I've ever done it like this.

Put your message into the # buffer, ENTER a program that uses an Extended Window, change the colors to what you want, and display the message. I know the Extended Window will inherit the parent window colors. Just don't know if any color changes will effect the parent window.
