You should get an error line just like the old days viz:-
34 D22RS.IBS *****876 Variable 'TPRICE ' has been previously declared
34 D22RS.IBS 04 876 ******************************************************************
or
443 D22RS.IBS 00000678 PROGEX=0
443 D22RS.IBS 03 678 ***********

opt (b) gives a much shorter listing, but yes you still get all Brians variables, but they are warnings not errors.
