I'm not sure whether you have been using the new MySql driver (http://wiki.signature.net/index.php/SQL_Driver) or the old ODBC driver in comet16 or comet32 for your programs. We just upped the task buffer to 64k for the next release (412), which should allow you to read plenty of text data through the new MySql driver. Please let us know if you need more than 64k, and we will figure something else out.
Also remember that you need to increase your string variable lengths to accommodate larger amounts of data, or simply use the new DYNAMIC length strings, which will grow as needed.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
