Spent last week rebuilding my 2008 Server. Ordered another RAID 5 Controller card so I'll be doing this for awhile yet. Just keep backups up-to-date. Noticed Control Panel -> Windows Update -> View Update History KB967723 always failing to install. Went back to Oct/2009. Viewed history on my Vista PC and it updated successfully 9/9/2009. So went to my 2008 Server and looked at 9/9/2009 and it states that KB967723 updated correctly. Also have an entry 10/2/2009 that KB967723 failed and almost every day since. Bad guys trying to spoof MS?? Found this URL claiming a fix via a stand-alone installer. RED FLAG is UP!! Downloaders beware!!
