Either CometServerProducts.exe or ServerInstall.exe should be able to install the necessary parallel port drivers. The parallel port must be on one of these addresses: 0378, 0278, 1278, or 1378 for it to be recognized by the security server. If you don't have a port at one of those addresses, you will need to use a USB dongle instead.
