I download Visual Studio Express 2008 (vcsetup.exe) and installed it on a Vista Biz PC. This PC has never had Visual Studio. I've been using VS 2003 on my laptop to develop WDL screens. I moved my CMAINT project directory to the Vista Biz PC and opened the cmaint.sln file. VSE2008 did a conversion (can't go back) on the file and said it was sucessful (with warnings).
However, I get a "Resource Editing is not supported on the Visual C++ Express SKU" message. See screen shot.
My dialogs are in the Resource.rc file. As far as VSE2008 is concerned, I'm SOL. Presumably the same restrictions apply to VSE2010.
I have the full VS2008, so I'm going to give it a try.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
