CSV Files

FILE (1) CSV is a great tool. The only limitation is that it requires the CSV file to be set up as a Comet file in the QDIR. Is there another IB call that will give the same functionality on a CSV file that's not in a Comet Directory? Also, is there an IB command that will add a file to the QDIR without using the create statement. I think you can see where I'm going here. If I DOS copy a CSV file to a Comet Directory within a program I need to also establish it as a Comet File. The Create Statemtent works, I just disregard the error.
