Found some more names that are involved. A Corporation called DeepLocal. Bing/Google it. Lots to read about. They got lots of fan fare using their software solutions during the Tour de France last summer. Something about a chalk printer writing a text message on pavement using GPS before Lance got there. CTR software would gather counts at each garage and Email DeepLocal on behalf of Pittsburgh's Cultural Trust (Artists, Opera, Theater stuff) who own garages. On the Parkway and going to a theater and wanting to know parking availability? Use your iPhone. Have also discovered USB devices that act like wifi but actually are currently 3g. Think laptop, netbooks I guess. Desktops?? Comet 3 or 4g network? Where/how/why??
