Wish I understood that DrawImage was the preferable form. I don't see anything in the doc that suggests that.
HOWEVER...
It seems like my problem was a timing issue. I had a (FF) in the program to get to the bottom of the page and then a CLOSE and OPEN to reset everything and everybody.
I took out the (FF) and voila, almost all, almost, of the problem went away. Three of my four test pages printed the image.
THEN
I added a highly technical Pause (1) at the very, very top of the FORM printing routine and it woiks!!!
