Went to AT&T's branch to pre-order the iPhone 4. Was excited. Decided on the 16G model and no texting. Am not a credit card fan. For that matter this is my first cell phone! Cell phones started when? So a credit rating check must be had via a credit card authorization? Need another strategy if you don't use credit cards. Next store was a Radio Shack where I discovered a USB record player. Have lots of albums left from college sooooo! I bought it. Mentioned wanting an iPhone 4 and dam, you can buy it from Radio Shack! Still have to do a credit check but you can use a checking account instead of a credit card. Guess what I did? Still AT&T plan! Informed AT&T next store and walked away. Being new to MOBILE first step for me is to determine whether 3/4 G is the same as TCP. No they're not. But they're all cousins. Wired (internal) to WiFi TCP (short range that has low tolerance). What is source throttling? Being brought up with serial communications this almost sounds like a morf between serial and TCP protocols. Remember ACK/NAK? Qterm? I believe that's what G3/G4 is. Wrong?? I see this on the horizon. Whether Verizon, AT&T, Sprint OR MS Mobile 7, Android or iPhone there's going to be a mix. Is it HTML5? Only comments. Way over my head!!
