You can run SYSGEN. Add /C to the shortcut command to start Comet. It will take you directly to SYSGEN. This is specifically for this purpose.
You probably got more than one shortcut because you ran CometWorkstation.exe more than once and indicted that you wanted a shortcut created for you. You can delete the extra one(s).
